FOUNDATION
The Sigma Phi Delta Foundation, founded in 1991, is a non-profit IRS 501(c)(3) educational foundation independent of the Fraternity. It's express purpose is to promote and support education, support educational aims, and foster intellectual excellence through scholarships and other means.
Through its various leadership initiatives, professional programs, and scholarships, the Sigma Phi Delta Foundation is preparing our young men to be the values centered engineering leaders needed in the 21st century. Contribution to the Foundation are an important and valuable means of supporting Sigma Phi Delta.
The SPD Foundation board is comprised of 3 alumnus members elected by the Fraternity’s General Convention.
Foundation Scholarship Award
We are proud to announce our merit-based scholarship, awarded annually to an exceptional recipient. This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students in good academic standing within their engineering program, irrespective of fraternity membership, gender identity, or institutional affiliation.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate student in an accredited engineering program
Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership potential

Submission period: Fall semester

Compelling essay showcasing your passion for engineering
Official academic transcript
Letter of recommendation from a faculty member or industry professional
