The Sigma Phi Delta Foundation, established in 1991, is an independent IRS 501(c)(3) public educational foundation. Its core mission is to advance engineering education, support academic achievement, and foster professional excellence across the broader engineering community.

Through leadership initiatives, educational programming, public mentorship, and merit-based scholarships, the Foundation prepares emerging student leaders to become ethical, value-centered engineering professionals in the 21st century. Scholarship opportunities and educational grants are available to qualified engineering students regardless of fraternity affiliation, gender identity, or institutional background.

The Foundation operates as an autonomous non-profit entity governed by an independent Board of Directors dedicated to advancing educational outreach and public benefit in engineering.

Foundation Scholarship Award

We are proud to announce our merit-based scholarship, awarded annually to an exceptional recipient. This opportunity is open to all undergraduate students in good academic standing within an accredited engineering program, irrespective of fraternity membership, race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, or institutional affiliation.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited engineering program.

• Demonstrated academic excellence, community service, and leadership potential.
